Air Fryer Low Carb Tuna Melts

This quick and easy air fryer recipe is made with just 3 low carb ingredients and makes for the best quick lunch or even simple dinner for busy weeknights.

    In a medium size bowl, mix together the drained tuna, cheese and egg until well combined. You can optionally add in some seasoning such as black pepper, garlic powder, and cayenne. I’d avoid salt because the tuna is already loaded with it.

    Form the tuna mixture into small, tightly packed patties and place them onto the bottom of your air fryer. I made mine about 2 inches wide.

    Air fry at 390°F for 12-16 minutes, flipping them over half way through. After making these a few times, I’ve discovered that they are more done than they look! They continue to crisp up as they cool down.

    Allow them to cool for a few minutes and then enjoy alone or with your favorite dipping sauce. I think they're yummy with Ranch dressing!
