Instructions

  1. 01

Bring a pot of water to boil and cook egg noodles according to package directions. Drain and set aside.

  2. 02

In a large skillet over medium high heat, brown ground beef and onions. Right before you the meat is no longer pink, add the minced garlic and saute for 1 additional minute or until the meat is cooked through. Drain ground beef in a colander and set aside.

  3. 03

Place the empty skillet back on stove and place over medium heat. Add the butter to the skillet. Once it melts add the flour to pan, and whisk constantly until a smooth paste forms.

  4. 04

Add the beef broth and whisk to remove any lumps. Bring the mixture to a boil. Let it boil for 2-3 minutes or until the mixture begins to thicken.

  5. 05

Whisk in the sour cream and cream of mushroom soup. Stir until mixture is completely incorporated.

  6. 06

Add salt & pepper to taste. If you like a little kick to you recipes, add in red pepper flakes as well.

  7. 07

Add the ground beef back to mixture and continue to heat until the meat is warmed through. If the mixture is too thick, add a little more beef broth and stir.

  8. 08

Serve immediately over cooked egg noodles.
