Instructions

  1. 01

Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Put the chicken nuggets on the baking sheet, sprinkle with 1 tablespoon parmesan, and bake according to the package directions.

  2. 02

Split the dinner rolls in half horizontally with a long serrated knife, keeping the rolls attached. Slide the nuggets to the side of the pan and place the roll bottoms on the baking sheet, cut-side up. Top with 6 slices of mozzarella to cover, tearing the cheese as needed to fit. Top each roll bottom with a chicken nugget and some marinara sauce. Cover with the remaining mozzarella. Spread the pesto on the cut side of the roll tops, then place on top of the sliders.

  3. 03

Preheat the oven to 375˚F. Combine the melted butter, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning in a small bowl. Brush on the roll tops and sprinkle with the remaining 1 tablespoon parmesan. Bake until the mozzarella is melted and the rolls are golden, 10 to 12 minutes.
