Instructions

    Peel onion, cut in half, then slice into half moons. Add to the bottom of your crockpot.

    Peel garlic and cut into thin slices. Set aside.

  3. 03

    Trim pork as needed to remove excess fat.

  4. 04

    Slit pork throughout the meat with a sharp knife. and shove in pieces of sliced garlic.

  5. 05

    Salt and pepper the pork, and set on top of onions.

  6. 06

    Add any remaining garlic, bay leaves, soy, and water.

  7. 07

    Cover, and cook on low for 8-10 hours.

  8. 08

    After it finishes cooking, remove from the crock pot and shred. Remove and discard bay leaves. Return shredded pork to crockpot and serve with all its juices and onion.
